E-Governance in water resources a segment: reservoir level and storage capacity monitoring



The high level privileges provided to the State User (State administrator) are as follows:
  • Create, modified and delete reservoirs of their state
  • Create modified and delete state profile
  • Modify and update the state profile in consultation with reservoir user in close consultation with national administrator.(National User)
  • Create, modify and delete the users and reservoir within their state user in close consultation with national administrator.(National User)
  • Interactive on line query support
  • Generate consolidated report at state level of all reservoirs being monitored within the state.
The privileges provided to the Reservoir User are as follows:
  • Query the current data entry position
  • Enter the data of their reservoir only
  • Performance review of their reservoir only
The report generation as per the National structure being followed at CWC, are as follow:
  • Weekly reports of 70 major reservoirs of India
  • Weekly basin wise reports/status
  • Performance review at national level/state level and at a particular reservoir including graphical
  • Hydel power generation
The report generation as per the National structure being followed at CWC would also be followed at state level as per the privilege provided to state users, are as follow:
  • Weekly reports of the reservoirs within the state
  • Performance review at state level and at a particular reservoir including graphical
  • Hydel power generation of the state
Login Procedure
The product could be accessed through a Netscape/Internet browser at the address http://164.100.11.7/rlms  (Temporary Address). The application software recognizes each of the user allocated its privileges, and security aspects; hence provides access at the national/CWC level, state level or at reservoir and projects the respective area of application to the user concerned.
